Gen  Sato

Gen Sato is a Japanese animator, mechanical and character designer, and manga artist, born on January 1, 1960, in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. He is recognized for his contributions to both manga and animation, particularly for pioneering the CHIBI art style. Sato gained prominence in the 1980s through his parodies of the Gundam series. His work spans over 300 anime productions, including Galaxy Express 999Pokeman, Digimon, Naruto and Boruto. In addition to his creative endeavors, Sato has mentored upcoming artists and authored instructional materials on manga drawing techniques.
